Laravel raw query builder method receives interpolated/concatenated request input, enabling SQL injection (CWE-89). Pass values through bindings: use the ['?'] placeholder form (e.g. whereRaw('col = ?', [$val])) or the fluent where()/orderBy() builder methods instead of embedding input.
