Course 3: Setting Up Your Environment

This course walks you through everything you need to configure before launching your first pentest on TurboPentest. From domain verification through scan tier selection, you will understand each step and the reasoning behind it.

Modules

1. Domains & Verification — Register your domain, prove ownership via DNS TXT records or file-based verification, and understand the TLD hierarchy
2. Targets — Add target URLs within verified domains, configure protocols, and manage your target inventory
3. Schedules — Set up one-off and recurring pentests, understand frequency options, and manage credit consumption for scheduled runs
4. Black Box vs White Box — Decide when to connect GitHub for white-box testing and understand the additional code analysis benefits
5. Scan Tiers — Choose the right tier (Recon, Standard, Deep, or Blitz) based on agent hours, depth requirements, and credit costs
